I have a step stool like #10 just to get E in his crib...
I think I need one too! I was putting A in his crib the other night and leaned so far over that my feet left the floor. Thank goodness our crib has strong sides.
We bought our crib specifically because we didn't have to stretch too much to reach the bottom. H and I are both short.
Moty: sitting on the couch with LO, watching Word Girl and eating Nutella straight from the jar off my finger. I hate this time of day. I feel like I've run out of things to do with him by 5.
@CL8badB, I have been overly anxious, not sleeping well and pissy. I thought it was just because I was stressed about traveling with LO but maybe it's partly weaning too. How are you feeling?
We are moving where there will be limited internet service. I'm not sure how I'm not going to go insane. We are also moving in with my parents so we can save the money to put down on a house while trying to sale our house.

My SIL survived living with her in laws by exercising and cleaning a ton. No one bothered her when she was on the treadmill!
I'll survive my parents, it's my grandparents that I might kill by the time we move out. They live next to my parents and they are all about drama.
@CL8badB - weaning did a number on me- I was super unmotivated and weirdly depressed- it was awful, but it passed quickly. Hope you are feeling yourself in no time!
Can anyone venture a guess why, weeks apart, green beans and okra are sparking when getting warmed in the microwave? We got rid of the pan that the green beans were cooked in, so obviously they were cooked in another pan. I'm worried about what I've been feeding to LO...
Could someone explain to me the difference between the pants style pajamas pants and the more fitted sweatpants?? My H dressed B in pajamas this morning, and when I said something to him he asked "well- how should I know the difference" and I had no good answer at all!

How was your first night away from LO? I am leaving for a bachelorette party the Canada Day long weekend (just for one night though) and I'm not looking forward to it. Mainly because I will just be back to work and feel the Mama guilt and also because while I looove the girl getting married I don't love her friends. I wish my first night away was a romantic night with DH!!

I'm a baby and I haven't been away from Ty yet...I just don't want him to misbehave and whoever watches him to be inconvenienced, I swear that's why

I had a work trip around 10 months and I left him for a full week! 4 whole nights, the next time I was away was when Ty was born...I really have control issues...MH is talking about us going to Miami for a Black Keys concert soon, so that might be my first "fun" night away...or next year for my birthday? I'm such a hypocrite...

I've had 3 different trips away from N and it's been fine each time. She's either been with grandparents or with MH, so I wasn't concerned at all about her wellbeing, and I knew she was with people she knows and loves. It was a little sad at first but I demanded lots of pictures and facetimed and it was no big deal.

I should qualify that I work from home two days a week and have to have distraction while I work, so I watch tv...all the tv...seriously I could freelance for Entertainment Weekly at this point
Ok, it is defer to the professionals night on TB for me. My mom was a very bad alcoholic, so I generally don't drink. For Mother's Day I got myself a bottle of wine and had two glasses Saturday night. I felt AMAZING Sunday. You guys know I'm kind of a tight ass, and I feel like a little wine mellows me out and makes my body relax. What say you, anyone who knows more about psych than me? Is a glass of wine once a week starting a bad thing, or a good idea to force a chill out on myself?
I have a glass of wine with dinner almost every night. If you feel like you have an addictive personality, I wouldn't even give that a try. I think there is a difference in enjoying a glass of wine and needing a glass of wine, ya know?

I love anything Brooklyn Decker does...but that "super single" girl was a little intense and all those big names have got to = big $$...
Yeah that is true. I like to not watch a show and let it get popular and then watch it online after it is a couple seasons in or finished altogether. I suppose that doesn't help with ratings...

I LOVED Community until Dan Harmon left. Then it just went downhill. But the first three seasons: perfection. "Remedial Chaos Theory" is one of the best episodes of any sitcom ever. /gavel
@ChicagoChic82 - there is nothing wrong with a glass of wine a week. If you are worried, then I would say keep it to that and check your mentality about it. If you start to feel like you *need* it, or you *need* to have more wine, then pull back. I have a drink almost every night but I have absolutely no issue going without, so I'm not worried about it for myself. If you have family history of addiction, then I think it's ok but be careful and mindful.
