J13 preggos come on in.....

So I'm a little over 11 weeks and I go tomorrow for my physical and hopefully we will hear a heart beat with the Doppler. My new BMB is lovely but right now it seems like every other post is about a loss. Since I won't have an ultrasound for another 10 or so weeks I think I just need a little encouragement from you guys. I feel fine, I really don't have any symptoms (other than the outrageous bloat) so other an feeling fat I don't feel pregnant. How is everyone else doing?

I know what you mean about the D14 board. I'm on there too.
I have ms this time around, which I didn't have with dd. So managing that and running after a 15 month old has been fun. I wish I could get her to understand that mommy isn't feeling well and needs to sit down for a minute. Not to mention she just cut 3 teeth in less than 2 days, so that has been fun too.
I have a Dr appt on June 3rd so I have been counting down to that. I will be 12 weeks then.

I only lurk on D14.

This pregnancy is the complete opposite from DD. I am going to purchase some sea bands tomorrow to see if those help.

My OB appt isn't until the end of the month, I can't wait to hear the heart beats again. I love the sound.

Hi. I'm in the August 14 board and it was crazy a lot in the beginning. I didn't feel pregnant at all with DD and everything was ok. Good luck. Hope all goes well.

I have not been to my new board yet. This one is so good, and I am a little nervous. I am 9 weeks along and this pregnancy has been the complete opposite of DD. With her I had no symptoms what so ever like you. With this one I am nauseous beyond belief! Hang in there mama and have happy thoughts!

I'm on the July 14 board (still lurking around here though). It's been harder and more tiring this time around chasing DS everywhere. Hang in there, it's different this time but really exciting and I think easier in that you know what to expect. Goes by really fast too.. Before you know it you'll be nearing the finish line!

Thanks ladies. After some digging around my doctor was able to pick up babies heart beat on the Doppler. Definitely makes me feel better. I now look forward to going for my ultrasound at 20 weeks. Seems so far away though!

Wow, can't believe you aren't getting an ultrasound until 20 weeks--I guess with all my IF, I got tons of them both pregnancies. But they aren't necessary; a heartbeat is just as informative at that stage.

I'm due with my second in August, and I agree with Allison. It's tougher, but goes really fast. Just try to keep up with exercise and your health--it's still so important!

I'm on the July 14 board and things have gone by pretty fast. This pregnancy has been completely different and is more exhausting since I'm chasing a toddler around 24/7, but you'll be at the end before you know it!

I remember all the loss threads early on on my new BMB. This is my first pregnancy on a BMB....I didn't find you ladies here until after DS was born so I was a little scared by it all. S14 even suffered three 2nd tri losses all in one week of each other. All for completely different reasons no fault of the mothers, and one of the loss moms has become a very dear friend of mine so it hit me really hard... as I was with her through her whole journey of it.

Sad as it all is, it's all in the realm of normal. It's all in the very small statistical probability.....not that these women are statistics, but please take comfort in the fact that you are pregnant today and that it is overwhelmingly likely you will make it all the way....and in no time too!

I agree with PPs that this pregnancy is going by faster. I'm more aware of it in some ways being so involved with my new BMB, but I'm also so unaware of it in that I'm chasing a toddler around and sleeping a lot easier....so tired all the time....if DS is asleep I'm out like a light, no need for special pillows this time!

I feel the same way! I am on jan15 board & 7 weeks. My dr won't even see me yet. Makes me so stressed! Even more so that this time around I have zero symptoms yet

I'm a little stressed but excited too.. I'm on the j15 board and 5W3D. My first appointment isn't until June 6th so I feel like it is forever away.
