Fathers Day Gift Ideas

Wondering if anyone is planning ideas for Father's Day gifts yet? I don't get to the city often so I'm trying to plan ahead incase I need to get supplies. My hubby went over and above to make me feel special on Mothers Day and I would like to do something extra special for him. So far I have a BBQ planned with both sets of our parents and siblings. I do this every year. I also am thinking of making this baseball with a blue print of LO's hand on it as we are fans of baseball.
If anyone has any ideas on how to make the day extra special please share!

H has been "hinting" at a decanter we saw at things remembered, so I'm going to get that and engrave something on it. He wants to BBQ himself (just got him a new grill and he loves it). I'll let him sleep in and cook him breakfast in bed and to be extra special ill change all the diapers

The baseball idea is adorable!

Since H is gone, I can't really get him anything. I'll probably send a homemade card with Mia's handprints as flowers or something like that - something small he can keep with him. Not a conventional gift, but he has tattoos for JJ and Devon...so I'm thinking about setting up time for him to see his favorite tattoo artist when he gets home and get one done for Mia.

I thought about taking pictures with her holding wooden letters that spell dad but other than that I haven't thought of anything. We aren't big on gifts here for these smaller occasions so I'll probably just cook him something he really likes for dinner, get him some beer, and spend a day doing things together. This is how our Mother's Day went and it was a great day.

I ordered a smoker for H. He can smoke our thanksgiving turkey next year....he also dropped not so subtle hints to me that he wants one...so, done and done.

My brother sent me a photo of a framed picture of a family, all wearing sunglasses, and then Horatio from CSI Miami below pulling his sunglasses down, and then it says "Looks like this family, has been framed..." (If you know the show you know how to read that line in Horatio's voice)

H HATES CSI Miami and especially Horatio, so I think it will be really funny to make that for him. We already agreed no gifts for Mother\s/Father's day so if I do anything it'll be a joke gift or a sentimental but cheap/free gift. I'll plan for us to spend the day together and probably do all the DD work for the day (diapers, etc.) or ask him if he wants a day with his friends golfing or something instead.

DH will just be returning from a 3 week business trip. And he completely ignored Mother's Day. So his "gift" will be a full day with his daughter while I get a massage and a pedicure and go shopping.

Kidding. But not really. But maybe.

He'll get a card for sure. I haven't decided what else.

@kiki1978‌ I just got him a brinkmann one from Wally World. He gets into these "I want that...I'll use it" phases....if he really uses it and loves it, I'll get a good one when this one breaks. It got great reviews.

I kind of screwed up last year and didn't do anything for his first fathers day. I feel awful I do. He wanted a keychain with a pic of me and DD on it, but we had just found out I was pregnant. I didn't think it'd be fair to have us and not new baby, but couldn't think of what to get him. This year I'm ordering a keychain that says Dad est 2012 off of Etsy to make up for last year and still have to figure out something for this year.

Sorry for being ignorant if this is obvious but do they make ones specifically for the stroller? (You know, like how diaper bags have handles that are meant to unclip and loop around the handles). If so- can you post where you can get this from? Thanks!
