DD won't sit. She either has to be in her exersaucer or held in a stand. And that gets tiring - I don't like to leave her in the saucer for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Speaking of doc's offices, FI is at one with DS right now. Poor guy is so congested he can barely breathe and is coughing all the time. No fever but I finally called yesterday for an appointment. This morning when I put him in his car seat, he started coughing/choking and wound up puking up a ton of mucus and the saline I'd given. I took him back to change his clothes and he puked up his breakfast everywhere just because he was coughing/choking so much. We were both in tears. I really hope they do something for him this time instead of continuing to tell us "he's just congested, he'll grow out of it."
My LO has been like this for a week now. I haven't taken her to the doctors because I know they won't be able to do anything for her. It sucks though. Poor babies. Hope your LO feels better soon.
I have a doctor appt today!!! Get to take two kiddos. Good times. Today is my weekly WW weigh in. Kicking ass if I do say so myself. Still miss milkduds but do not miss baby weight. Bring on swimsuit season!!!!!
Good job! I have been so unmotivated lately, but I told myself I would get back on the wagon. Swimsuit season will be here before we know it!
I'm whiney today. Im 2 days late, with ALL the symptoms of my period. Woke up at 4 am with STABBING cramps.
If I had started on time, I would have had DH help with LO tonight. Now, I'll probably start soon, and be couched with a screaming baby who is only happy with someone pacing with him.
DH left for a work trip this morning for the second time in 2 weeks. It's only 2 days but I am so frustrated. I hate being home alone with LO for so long. I get so tired and overwhelmed. I guess I should be grateful that DH is so helpful with LO that I can't live without him.
Solange tweeted something to the effect of "feeling down in the dumps" to which jay z replied "like your career?!" (Not exact, just something similar, he insulted her with what she said, a couple times.) Well, Beyoncé didn't defend her immediately, so solange took down any photos of her on her Instagram, but Beyoncé posted MORE pics of her and her sister on HER Instagram.
Oh man! Rough day on D13 today I hope it gets better for everyone.
So I was going to AW my brand new fancy-smancy appliances and whine about scrubbing out my old refrigerator but I'll shut up and leave this here instead.

Tired, dd#1 decided to have a talk in her sleep night and of course she can't do that quietly. It's really funny and I now know what she dreams about: Mickey mouse clubhouse (she was calling for toodles).
I don't want to breastfeed anymore. I can't even give good reasons why. It's just so many tiny things. My nips are hurting again because she drags them around all over the place while eating, I can't take any effective meds for allergies and I'm getting annoying vertigo, and I'm tired of coiling away from DH whenever he comes near my boobs (bc he'll either forget and squeeze them or bump my nips that are sore again.) And don't get me started on my feeling towards my breast pump right now...
Most annoying of all is I'm mad at myself for wanting to stop. I feel guilty I guess, because I have the supply and so many women wish they had the chance to do this.
Me too. DH gives a bedtime bottle every night, which she sucks down in about 10 minutes. She takes 35 minutes to nurse until she is fully done. I keep thinking about how much I could get done if my son could give her bottles during the day.
Add to that, I just don't enjoy breast feeding. I do it because it's free and I wanted to prove to myself that I could (couldn't/didn't with the other two kids). But then I feel selfish for wanting to quit just so I have more time in my day. And guilty because I can breast feed but don't want to.

@SailorTink - but sometimes it's not the supply issue. There are all kinds of reasons to stop, and I think all your reasons are valid. If you feel like it's time, then it's time! There's no reason to feel guilty just because others have trouble. Do what is right for your family!

I actually had a good night last night. WHY? Because I said FCUK that to the crib and let LO sleep with me in the spare bed. She sleeps SOOOSOOO much better on a bed. Hm...too early for a queen bed??? I know i'll regret my decisions at some point but the chance to sleep is winning.

This was us until they changed her formula on Friday, no more congestion but she is now spitting up a little but and has 1-2 runny poops a day.

Was this before or after the elevator event? All I know is there have been some hilarious memes come out of the whole debacle!
No clue, I'm just going off of what I heard on the Elvis Duran morning show on the radio! Lol

Switching formula resolved the congestion? What did you switch to? We switched DS to Nutramigen a few months ago hoping to help his congestion and it really hasn't.
Yes they switched her to Nutramigen but if you're ready on it..... It has seemed to help her congestion. Just FYI my friends baby was congested and they did a X-ray and she ended up having her sinuses drained at 10 weeks. Keep bugging them about it, they told me if the formula change didn't help they would look into acid reflux.
It's going to be quite warm out today so this is the first time I've had LO out in our backyard. Im sitting in the sunshine and she's under her tent, rolling around talking to her toys. Great start to the day (AND SHE NAPPED FOR 1.5 HOURS WITHOUT CRYING) considering we started doing this at 10am
It is too hot in SoCal, so I'm not putting the babies in the hot car unless I have to. We're going to play in the blow up pool and watch Sleeping Beauty. I read about this neat toy in a Family Fun magazine and just bought it. I'm hopeful that it is as cool as it seems to be! Its called a Grapple, and I think I love it! https://boingyco.com/
It's our anniversary tonight and DH and I are finally going out in a date!!!!! Woohooo! We haven't been out since L was born. I'm so looking forward to eating all the sushi and drinking all the sake!!!!!
Today was my 2nd day of my new job, I love it SO much. Its so suited to my personality. I am getting used to the hours and getting up and being a normal functioning human again, quite frankly it sucks and I want to go back to doing as I please when I please. If only I didn't need money LOL. I do find now that most of my evening is being spent getting ready for the next day. That blows. But the weekend is coming!!!!!!
Tomorrow is DH's grandma's funeral service. I am not looking forward to seeing most if not all of his extended family. I miss his grandma as well. She was SO sweet and she loved our kids. Tomorrow will be a tough day. Thanks for any extra thoughts or prayers.
