Deleted all the baby pics!

I plugged my iPhone into the computer to down load pics and accidentally hit reformat phone and some how deleted all the pics on my phone. I cried like a baby. Any tips on how to get them back? I tried iCloud but that didn't work. I called apple but my husband has the computer at work so that didn't work.

    Oh no, I have done this once before. So upsetting. No tips but hope you can recover them

    I'm so sorry! I deleted all my pics a couple weeks before DS arrived and the only photos I could recover we're pictures I had taken in the last 30 days (they were in my photo stream)... Good luck!

    I wasn't backing up/syncing with iCloud before but I quickly changed that after losing pics.

    This happened to me with DS1. Do you have an iPad? My photo stream automatically syncs both devices.
