Do you have your own stash of a particular food that even your SO isn't allowed to touch?

  • I was just eating a spoonful of peanut butter out of MY peanut butter jar, and it made me think of this question. :)

I also stash chocolate and sometimes crackers.

  • If there's anything I want for myself, like candy, I usually take it to work and keep it in my cubicle. Mine all mine!

But I do have one thing in the pantry that's just for me. I had bought a couple boxes of Blueberry Morning cereal. It's my favorite, kind of expensive and hard to find in stores! So when I did happen across them after not seeing them in stores for a few years, I bought two boxes and told DH hands off. Which was fine with him! He eats the cereal I don't care for, like Honey Nut Cheerios and Froot Loops.
  • I hoard all of my snackies at the office or in my giant mary-poppins-purse so that MH can't find them  >:)

    ALL ARE WELCOME
  • My husband and I like different foods so we have a lot that's separate.  We really only eat dinner the same at home (unless I make pizza or something for lunch).  If he ate something of mine I wouldn't really care.  However, my ice cream is mine.  No one may touch it ever except me.  DH isn't really into my ice cream, but it is the one item that he knows not to eat if he's ever tempted.

This time I'm not leaving without you.
  • I don't really have anything that is off limits to my husband. But sometimes if we have a good treat around the house I will save it until the "perfect moment" to eat it. Then when I am all excited to eat it, I will find that it's gone because he was tired of waiting for me and took it. Grrr!

  • Nothing is off-limits for DH or DS but there are things that I definitely growl about if they dig into it. :P
