My LO has been sleeping 6-8 hour stretches now at night and then feeding every hour or two during the day. Her feedings went from 15-20 minutes long to 10 or less since she started sleeping so long at night. Also she gets mad after my let down and she has drank that milk like there is nothing left. I do switch sides but should I be pumping at night even though she is sleeping or taking something during the day?
She is 6 weeks old now
Re: Long night sleep stretches affect day supply!
Also, once my DD dropped her midnight feeding, I got up anyway to pump it and I still do. It's just a great way for me to stay ahead of her for daycare bottles. Once she STTN alllll the way through, I actually found that I was pumping MORE during the day. Like my body knew that more milk must be needed during the day since it wasn't being consumed at night. Trust your body and see what things are like tomorrow. Also, yay for sleep.
