Our crib has solid ends so I have the mesh bumpers tied to the last slat instead of the corner like you'd normally do. Can you do that? It leaves one slat open at the end but she hasn't gotten stuck in it.
3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13
^We did that for a while, but when we lowered the crib mattress it wouldn't stay put for whatever reason. We had the breathable bumpers and then ended up giving them to a friend because it wasn't jiving with our system.
I plan on keeping LO in them as long possible, Halo even makes ones with feet openings for older kids. I just put LO in a light weight T-shirt, diaper and sleep sack at night. For daytime naps, when it is warm I just do sleep sack and diaper.
^This is exactly how DD falls asleep which is I think why her legs keep falling through! Do you mind If I use that picture to show a seamstress? If that would solve our problems, I am so on board!!

This exactly. I still put her in PJ's though, but I use thin cotton sleep sacks. I even has some that have a mesh strip up the side so they are breathable.
