I want to hear some updates on how everyone is doing. I know we've had a few mamas give birth/water breaking ect and i wanted to let you ladies know I'm thinking of you and hope your little ones are hanging in there.
I feel like a really lucky lady. I'm a high risk for my health, not for my baby. I did have a TIA event last week. I had numbness (like less sensation, not quite numbness) in my right cheek and right hand, and I had a droop on my right mouth side. I went to the hospital, and the kept an eye on me over night. The symptoms went away at about 5 hours, and have not come back again.
I have been taking Lovenox injections, twice a day. My abdomen is a pretty purple, blue, and red from the bruising. Beyond that, I'm just been going to speech therapy twice each week. My speech has gotten a lot better, but I'm sure I sound like an English Language Learner (Because I am!).
My heart is in for @Ck61@brlocklear. I hope everything works out for you in the end

I am lucky that I too am high risk for my health and not the baby's. So far our baby boy is doing very well. I have several heart issues (mild issues with all of my heart valves, aneurysm on my ascending aorta, pacemaker for symptomatic bradycardia), also have severe migraines and migraine induced seizures and hemoplegic migraines (which give stroke like symptoms), asthma and respiratory issues. So far my heart is doing very well with the pregnancy and my OB and cardiologists are monitoring it very close. I've been dealing with severe migraines the entire pregnancy, and I've also had bronchitis and pneumonia 4 times during the pregnancy. Baby boy is doing well through it all and is growning and very active.
I am as well lucky that it is my health that is high risk and so far baby boy is doing great! I had multiple bleeding episodes early on that was a result from previa. Luckily as of my scan done about 2 mths ago my placenta has moved up and no longer classified as previa. I will have another scan on June 6th to verify it and check to make sure baby is doing well and the amniotic fluid is at a good level, it was a little low last time. I do also have blood disorders. I have itp and anemia which is being monitored very closely. My iron levels have dropped down a lot and I have to get iron treatments starting this Friday. I'm unable to take the oral iron as I become very ill. So, I'm very nervous for the transfusions. Luckily my platelets are staying in the low 100's as of last week so that's some good news! I'm still on modified work duty and can't be active but I luckily got the ok to go float in the swimming pool! Thank goodness as it is sooo hot here!
I am high risk because of my complicated gynecological (surgical) history. At 20 weeks we found out that I have partial previa, so we are just waiting to see if that resolves. But baby girl is doing great! Good luck to all you mommas who have tougher complications!
