I found out I no longer have an immunity to rubella at my last appointment. Rubella carries all sorts of dangerous/fatal risks to an unborn baby, but it very unlikely I would catch it as rubella is practically unheard of in the U.S. anymore. My question is: I was going to send my husband to get a booster of his MMR, and my daughter is due to get her second round of MMR in a few months. Does anyone know if you can contract it from someone else's recent vaccination? I do have a call into my doctor, so I'll have an official answer sometime today, but I was wondering if anyone had this issue, too.
Re: MMR Vaccination
Either way OP you're fine.
I think you were rude, and I think you know you were rude, and now you're trying to say "what? I offered legit advice". Maybe phrased a different way, I would have taken it seriously, but it's honestly disheartening to get such a flippant sarcastic remark, especially after the nice ones that were actually helpful. You offered nothing helpful. And I've seen your responses on other posts, so I know this is your M.O., but it's still uncool. You think a post is dumb? Don't answer it. I've been on these boards three times in the last four years, so I know being snarky can sometimes be the cool thing to do and a way to get a laugh. But a snarky response and a rude response are really just two different things.
Sidenote: @WashingtonQueen, your daughter's headband is darling.
