Can I try on my own during a FET?

They were only able to freeze 1 embryo.  Can we also try one our own during a month where we do a frozen transfer?

    Are you doing a natural or medicated cycle? With a medicated cycle, there won't be ovulation, so you can't really try. With a natural cycle, my guess is that your RE wouldn't want you trying but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I only did a medicated FET, so trying was out of the question. Best of luck!

    Lost baby A. Praying that baby B stays healthy. Baby B hb 175 at 11 weeks

    It's a GIRL!!!

    When we were preparing for a natural FET, our RE mentioned that people do try on their own just to increase their chances.  Obviously that would also increase the chance for multiples.

    I think it depends.  Some REs probably wouldn't want you to try.  Also, if you don't ovulate, which I don't, it wouldn't matter anyway.  I would ask you RE about it.  I would be too afraid to screw up the cycle without asking first.
