AW: IUI#3 today and DH is sooo proud of his swimmers!

We're MFI (DH has had several SAs, consistently with 4-5% motility and post-wash counts of less than 5 million total motile sperm.) He's been on letrozole since January, and at the 3 month mark and IUI#2, he had his worst numbers yet. We're trying to prepare ourselves emotionally, physically, and financially for IVF. However, it will be a while before we're ready so DH pushed to keep trying IUIs. Today was #3, and while the numbers were still far from perfect, we actually had improvements! April IUI had 5% motility and 2.2 million total motile sperm. Today: 10% motility and 27.7 million total motile!! DH is as proud as a peacock, and I am getting a huge kick out of it and enjoy seeing him so happy! We had agreed I wouldn't call to talk about numbers and we'd discuss tonight at home. Well, DH called me at work today to ask because he "just knew." We've had a very entertaining evening discussing how he "knew" and how he changed his "performance technique." 
The only things that have really changed: another month on letrozole, he stopped carrying his cell in his pocket, and he cut back on beer, expecially during the week. I know the numbers are still low and I'm not allowing too much hope that we won't need IVF...but we're definitely back in the IUI game, at least for a cycle or more! He called again later in the day asking to have a nice dinner as celebration, LOL. His reward so far has been Papa Murphy's pizza and a nice IPA. He doesn't know it yet, but the rest of the reward might involve giving those super swimmers another chance the low-tech way!

September 2013 Repeat SA: Count= 1.7 million, Motility= 24%, Morphology= 2%
November 6th 1st Appointment with RE: diagnosed with severe MFI
Testing to try to determine a cause & possible treatment for MFI
CD 3 blood work for me. RE does not want to repeat my HSG/lap at this point,
but may want to before moving forward with any fertility treatments.
After seeing the uro, DH is currently taking lots of supplements and clomid to try to boost his count. We will have a repeat SA in February to see if it works.
Follow up SA numbers are: Count= 4 million, Motility= 40%, Morphology= 1%
Uro wants us to have another follow up SA 5/9 to see if we see further improvement than we are back to the RE to make a game plan.
SA 5/9/2014 Count: 12 Million, Motility: 60%, and Morphology 2%. We will be doing iui #1 in late June
IUI #1 6/28 clomid + ovidrel, post wash count 3 million total sperm= BFN
IUI # 2 7/21 clomid+ ovidrel. post wash count 900,000 total sperm= BFN
IVF planned for early November- cancelled due to cyst
December IVF #1- 22 eggs, 20 mature,16 fertilized
12/9 Transferred 1 4AA Blast, 6 frosties
