I know it's a little early for some ladies, but I've been missing out on these because LO eats pretty quickly and goes right back to sleep after MOTN feeds (my version of a unicorn I guess).
Anywho... My ac got "fixed" but it's still got as ballz in my house. It's finally down to 83 - was 89 when I got off work at 10pm. We gave up on relying on the ac and opened all the windows. Hopefully once the house is cooled off the ac will at least maintain the temp.

WTF! If you aren't going to take the chance to sleep, You watch the kids and I'll sleep!! Arrgh X(
Robert is doing his MOTN grunts. I was about to scoop him up but I realized his eyes were closed tight. Popped the paci back in his mouth and he's sleeping and only grunting intermittently.
He nursed at 8pm. Fell asleep at 9:30. He's been sleeping for 4 and a half hours... And may go longer.
Should I pump to maintain my supply? Or hold off until he's ready to nurse? But what if he sleeps for way longer?? I'd hate to ruin his first real long nighttime stretch!

Baby girl waited to wake up until I got home from work yesterday ( I work 12's so 750pm when I got home) and I got to help with bath/bedtime AND my husband did all the diaper laundry by himself.
So 'hi'.
LO is starting to sleep better. His mucousy choking is mostly gone.
He is back to sleeping 4-5 hours for his first stretch. And he is usually asleep by 9-10pm, like his brother.
He used to take both sides for each MOTN feeding, but has recently switched to just one side.
Now my problem is deciding if I can withstand the discomfort in the 'unused breast' enough to sleep until he wakes up again in3-4 hours...
I'm opting for sleep because I haven't cleaned my pump parts since I stored them 6 months ago when DS1 weaned.
(I guess I should wash them in preparation of more nights like these...)

He only slept 1.5 hours. Chugged quite a bit of milk and is now passed out on me again.
Back to bed he goes so I can get some sleep before getting up for his 2 month appointment this morning.

Side note - I fed the boy a straight formula bottle this morning. I EP but I dont always make enough and was half a bottle short yesterday. The only problem with formula is I don't know how to fortify it so he'll be short on calories today. I better email his nutritionist!
In about to go eat one of the chocolate covered bananas my MIL sent us for our anniversary.
Acting hungry and squirmy. I assumed it was gas or poops bothering him.
He ate and was content. Snuggled on my shoulder. Then threw it all up. All over me in bed. Yuck!!
Then he smiled the biggest smile.
So, complete change of clothes for both of us. He's finally falling asleep again. Just in time for my alarm to go off.
