Vicks on feet

  I believe it works the same way as on the chest, but that's too overpowering for a baby, so putting it on the feet makes it less strong. Maybe? :-?

  This is what I thought until I heard of adults putting it on their feet as well.

  I tried it once with DS1 and it didn't work. I haven't been desperate enough to try with this LO yet.  I have friends that swear it worked for their children.

  I've tried it on LO, I'm not sure if it made a huge difference but I know when I was a kid my mom used to put onions in my socks when I was sick and it seemed to work! Same idea?

  Is this what you're referring to? I wonder if the study included the Vicks for babies? I don't see any warnings on the baby Vicks packaging like the article says for the adult version.
