I went to my checkup today and brought up the spotting and pain I had on Sunday. She was unhappy i didn't call that day and warned me that because of my condition I'm at risk for preterm labor. Since I haven't had any bleeding since she let it go but told me that anytime I feel intense pain and anytime I see blood it warrants a call to them at least.
She also confirmed that I've been having legit though not consistent contractions. A braxton hicks contraction you don't feel pain and the baby should stay in the same position, a legit contraction forces the baby downward. Little girl hates them, she flips sideways and starts fighting them asmuch as possible. I was also told if i get 4 or more within an hour to call which I've been close to getting. After things calm down though she moves back up and is happy with me again.
so no big freak out moments but left with some pretty big warnings. Next appointment is my gestational diabetes test and after that starts my bi - weekly appointments.
