I've save $85. I am pretty obsessed with it to the point I'll browse through it really quick and add discounts before getting out of my car. And I'll check everything on my basket against it.
I voted "what's cartwheel," but I know what it is, I just haven't downloaded it. I don't have a smart phone and I don't shop at Target very much.
"Don't shop at Target very much"??
Haha, I know, I know... We don't have a lot of splurge money in the budget or room in our apartment for more stuff, so staying out of the store keeps us on track. We have Amazon Prime, and we received enough clothes, etc. as gifts that we STILL haven't bought any new outfits for DD (She's in 9-12's! Being the first grandchild has its perks.).
I totally understand the budget thing. I'm putting myself through school, paying for a divorce, and I still haven't received any child support. But that's a whole other Oprah. My point is, with coupons, cartwheel, red card (5% off every purchase and free shipping on everything), and those awesome diaper deals they offer ($15 gift cards with diaper purchases) I can stock up for cheap. It's taken me years to not impulse shop there, but how fast you learn when the budget must be followed!
I voted $26+ because I am like 5 cents away from hitting $26. I am addicted!!!
And I have to admit to buying things I didn't need didn't originally plan on buying but I did because ZOMG I can save 10% on it! (This happens mainly with clothes)
I use it a lot, I think I've saved over $30 at this point. Part of it is b/c I use Up&Up diapers and there is always a discount on those. I only use it though for things I am already planning on buying though (well... most of the time)
I like the idea, but putting the wanted items on my list is just too much like coupon clipping, which I suck at. Why can't I just scan the barcode at the register and anything that might be on discount will come off, regardless of if I added it or not?
My phone is a piece of junk so it takes forever to load when I'm in store. I have to do it on Safari because I can't get the damn thing to update to support the app. I need a new phone.
I always check out the website totallytarget.com to get coupon/cartwheel match ups to maximize my discounts.
I just used it today... so cartwheel, along with my red card, I saved $17 on formula, toothpaste, and some food pouches!! I have saved $78 since i got the app.
Anyone else have the problem w/ it not using all of the coupons in your cart? The one and only time I used it, it only discounted one coupon when I know I had other things that should have worked.
I just used it tonight and that pushed me over $50. Using cartwheel, mobile coupons, printed coupons plus manufacturers coupons, I saved over $40 on my trip tonight plus got back a $10 gift card. I love Target!
$2.83 I love target but I only go there once or twice a month. We do use Up&Up diapers for daycare but that's only 10-15 diapers a week. We also have an small old store so there is very little in the way of groceries/food.
I get so pissed when I realize what I just bought had a discount on cartwheel. Example: the food pouches I just bought last night. I'm at $33 but really is more because a few times I've forgotten and went to customer service to get a manual adjustment. Yeah I'm THAT person.
I've saved $46! However, the only reason mine is so high is because we bought a tv and a tv stand when they were having a really good sale, doubled with a cartwheel.
I don't shop at Target a whole lot, sometimes I'll buy the up &up diapers, but mainly I shop at Fred Meyer, because I can load manufacturer's coupons right on my rewards card and stack those with their sale prices or in-store coupons. Then I get a fuel discount dependent on how much I spend at the store, plus a 1% rewards rebate quarterly.
