Hello Everyone! My name is Jane.  I am 32 years old, and my DH and I got married in October of 2011.  We started TTC shortly before our wedding (August 2011), and I was diagnosed with PCOS in September of 2011.  I was put on Metformin at the time of the PCOS diagnosis, and that helped to regulate my cycles and get me ovulating again.

Our first visit to the RE was in May 2012.  She told us to try for a full year (August 2012) and that if we still weren't pregnant, to come back.  We both had some extensive work commitments in the fall of 2012, so my next appointment with the RE wasn't until February of 2013.  At that time we decided to proceed with an HSG and IUIs with clomid.  My HSG results were fine, and we did our first Clomid/IUI cycle in June 2013.  After that cycle failed we tried again in July 2013.  Following our second failed cycle I really felt I needed a break.  During this time my RE also left the practice.

I met with a new RE (same practice in September 2013).  He informed us at that appointment that he too was leaving to become the head of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.  We talked at length and he encouraged us to do another IUI before moving forward.  Our third IUI was done in October 2013, and this cycle also failed.  I really struggled after that last failed cycle, and DH and I had many discussions about where to go next.

In March 2014, after a nice break, I had an appointment with my new RE.  We decided to start the IVF process.  I went in to repeat my day 3 blood work (it had been a while), and I started BCP on 04/26.  My RE called me after the blood work results and told me that my TSH level was high, and that she wanted me to start on Synthroid before our IVF cycle.  I started that on 04/28.  Looking back at my old results, it should have been caught sooner, which is frustrating, but I am trying not to focus on that too much, and want to stay positive for this cycle!

Yesterday I had my mock transfer and my sonohystogram which went well, and I have my injections class tomorrow.  I should start injections on Friday if all goes as planned.  I am nervous, but ready to get going! Our potential retrieval/transfer week is the week of June 9th!

    01/2014 Large Cyst Removed along with right ovary and tube
    04/2014 2nd HSG-Remaining tube damaged/blocked
    05/2014 Testing cycle and BCP to prep for IVF
    06/2014 IVF cycle #1 is scheduled cancelled due to low estrogen
    07/2014 Started Estrace to help with my estrogen issues
    08/2014 IVF cycle #2 is scheduled delayed
    09/2014 IVF cycle #2 is scheduled failed- 6 follicles, 1 retrieved, 0 fertilized
    10/2014 WTF scheduled for 10/22 and second opinion scheduled for 10/10
    11/2014 Moving on to the new RE!  
    01/2015 IVF cycle #3 is scheduled delayed
    02/2015 IVF cycle #3 is scheduled

    Welcome! I had a similar experience with my RE not catching my thyroid disease, so I totally understand your frustration on that one!!! We'll also be starting stims this weekend :)

    TTC #2 with assistance since 03/11
    Me: 33, Autoimmune (Hashimotos and FMS/CFS)
    Treated with Synthroid, acupuncture, TCM and supplements
    DH: 33, MFI (very low on all counts, high antibodies, hemochromatosis)
    Many treatments tried, none successful

    IVF/ICSI #1 05/14 - EPP/Antagonist, Gonal-F and Luveris, 18R, 14M, 13F - SET of 1BC, all arrested on day 5 - C/P
    Genetic testing = normal, DNA Frag = excellent
    IVF #2 03/15 - Long protocol with Suprefact, Gonal-F, and possibly Luveris, adding in PICSI

    Hysteroscopy :  August 2014 (adhesions, and pre-polyps found and removed)
    FET#1: September 11th, 2 hatching frosties transferred
    1st Beta 9/22: 896 2nd Beta: 1924
    EDD: 5/30/15

    Welcome! One thing I've learned is that different REs have different ideas about acceptable TSH levels. Hope yours levels out soon! Also, you might be interested in joining the June Bugs group for those cycling in June. Check-ins start Friday!

    Me (35) no known issues DH (37) MFI. TTC 21 months (24 cycles)
    Dx MFI with low to normal count, low motility, morphology 3%
    HSG normal, ultrasound and labs on me all normal. 

    1 cycle of Clomid 50mg and TI, unmonitored by OBGYN= BFN
    1 cycle of Clomid 50mg and IUI, unmonitored by OBGYN= BFN
    Started seeing an RE!!
    2 more cycles of clomid 50mg (great response), with IUI and Pregnyl trigger (4.8-8 mil good ones after wash) = all BFN
    1 cycle of clomid 50mg (3-7) followed by Follistim 75iu (7-11) + IUI = BFN
    December 2013 DH saw urologist and is taking Anastrozole, CoQ10, and L-Carnitine
    IUI #5 natural cycle (needed a med break) = BFN
    IUI #6 Follistim 75iu (CD3-10) + Pregnyl (CD11) + IUI (final count after wash 300K) = BFN
    IUI #7 Follistim 75iu (CD3-9) + Pregnyl (CD11) + IUI on 2/20 (post wash count 12.5 million)= BFN
    IUI cancelled (DH OOT) Clomid 50mg (CD3-7) 1 follicle +(not well timed) TI = BFN
    IUI #8 and last one!! Clomid 100mg (CD3-7) +OPK before US + IUI 4/17 (post wash 8.5 mil)= BFN

    Pre-IVF testing complete! SHG great and measurements taken! Labs for infectious diseases completed, FSH (5.4), TSH (1.6), Prolactin (11), AMH (2.6), Estradiol (40).

    Started BCP 5/29 and Lupron 6/11 prep for IVF #1! Started follistim 225u/day on 6/28. Monitoring on 7/2 >15 follicles measuring 11-14, E2 758. Monitoring on 7/5 all ready to go!! Great follicle sizes and lining is at 9. Tigger 7/5, ER 7/7 16R 9M 3F. Stimmed too fast in just 7 days. 7/10 3dt of 2 8-cell grade 2 & 4. 7/14 P4 >60.
    Holy crap BFP!!!
    Beta #1 (14dpo) 7/21 112 Beta #2 (16dpo) 7/23 286 a Beta #3 (18dpo) 7/25 761 Beta #4 (21dpo) 2631!!! Hold on tight little embies!!      First Ultrasound 8/7- 1 perfect little bean with a beating heart 117bpm!! EDD 3/30.
    Second ultrasound 9/2 Little bean measuring a few days ahead with a heart rate of 161!

    Welcome! Starting stims this Fri but no ER and ET til around the 9th? That seems like a very long stim time! I start stims the 24th and assume my er will be around June 5th. Did they tell you why to expect such a long stim?

    katib77: I had an appointment today and I guess I am starting Lupron injections on Friday and then starting Gonal-F and Menopur on 05/31.  This is my first IVF so I am new to how this works!

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1
