Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Blighted ovum

I had my first and only pregnancy end in what the doctor called a blighted ovum. The sac was still intact and growing but no baby was found. He was very heartless in how he handled the situation and I am reaching out to other women to see how they dealt with such a situation.

I'm so sorry for your loss. If you're not happy witb your OB I strongly urge you to find someone you like. It can make a huge difference. That aside, did you have any specific questions? The ladies here are pretty great. I hope you find what you're looking for.

I'm very sorry for your loss and your troubles with the OB. I too, had a blighted ovum though my doctor is wonderful. If you have any questions or need any specific advice I'll do my best to answer you. I will agree that you definitely need to seek a new doctor. This is a dreadful and painful process and a good doctor to provide guidance and support is worth all the world. I'm so sorry.

  • Thanks for all your support. It is greatly appreciated!! xoxo
I did change docs and found an amazing female OB who is willing to help me get pregnant at 40+ no matter what it takes, lol. I am currently taking FertilAid and OvaBoost supplements and my doc says I have enough CM on my own so no worries about that at the moment. I have my first official TTC OB appt coming soon, as I just got my period today.
What supplements are popular at the moment and seem to work out the best?
