This might be silly...

Considering all the serious things that t&ps have been requested for, I feel kinda silly... But could you please send thoughts and prayers and all the good mojo that my air conditioner will be fixed today? If this doesn't fix it the whole thing will need replaced :(

    So not silly! Ours was out for 3 days last summer when the temps got to high 90's. T&p's a comin' ;)

    Not silly!  It's so expensive to get them replaced. And it's soooo miserable when they don't work -  especially with tiny babies! Hope it gets resolved quickly for you!

    Not silly! I don't know what area you are in, but if it gets too bad I have lots of tips to keep it cool until it is fixed.

    The best is to wet any thin sheet or blanket and hang in front of a box fan.

    Thanks mamas!!! It seems to be working. The guy just left and it's at least running, so now DH is waiting for it to cook down before he gets LO from the sitter.

    Well eff. It's been running for about 10 hours and it's still 81 degrees. We had to open up the windows (but left the ac running) to even get it there. I closed the windows 2 hours ago to see how that would go. Nada. Temp stayed exactly the same. It doesn't seem to be blowing as cold or as hard as before.

    @DisneyAddict1‌ Originally it was the compressor, which needed replaced either way because the outside unit wasn't running at all. Now we're having someone else come look at the inside unit because the first guy was a friend's dad and was coming after hours. We can't handle another 90* day.

    It's fixed! DH called some places this morning that could come out quicker because my friend's dad was just coming out after hours when he was done with his scheduled calls. They were at the house within a few hours and said they wouldn't leave until it was working because of the baby. Also, the guy that owns our house said to just take it off rent. Woot!
