Our first loss

On this past Wednesday I was 7w2d pregnant and I was spotting so we went in for an u/s and blood work. Found out that the babies heartbeat was only 75. So we scheduled another u/s a week later but actually went back on Friday because I was having very bad cramping and bleeding. At the u/s found out the baby was completely gone. So so far it's a natural miscarriage but when I had blood work again on Friday my number was only down to 724..so back for blood work every week til 8th down to below 5. I never thought we would be in this situation..really just taking it one day at a time.

    So sorry for your loss. That's the best way to heal, one day at a time. We were due with our first Thanksgiving day, but found out last week the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. I had a D&C on Monday , 9w4d, and i've been ok physically. Emotionally, its been a little bit of a roller coaster, but like you taking it one day at a time.

    I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure day by day it gets easier. As far as a D&C... I just had mine today and I can tell you it isn't as bad as I expected. My nurse, doc and anesthesiologist were all so compassionate and supportive and it helped my soul tremendously.

    08/2011: Clomid 50mg, IUI --> BFN  ,
    10/2011: Clomid 100mg, IUI --> BFN
    04/13: Clomid, IUI BFP --> MC at 6w1d

    I'm very sorry for your loss. If you have to go the D&C route it really wasn't bad at all. I had mine on Friday and I'm not even bleeding, no pain or discomfort. It's all emotional now. I don't think I was prepared for the hormone crash that followed, so just be mindful that it's likely coming. Take things one day at a time. Hugs, we're all here for you.
