So I did a search on the board and found nothing since Nov. so if this has come up recently, please direct me there

but have any STM's done hynobabies or something similar and how did you like it? Did you take the class or just use the CD's? I heard the CD's are mostly a birthing class and if I took a birthing class (which I have already) all I should need are the last disc or 2 with the guided meditation. I love guided meditation and works for me for other situations that I need calm in, so I'm hoping to give this a shot but not sure how to approach it this late in the game...
Re: Hypnobirthing
For hypno babies all of the CD's are hypnosis, the class part is in a book. This is from the hypnobabies website, it sounds like they do offer an abbreviated type of schedule:
"The Hypnobabies Home Study is a 5 week program, so the latest you can start is 35 weeks. Babies do come as early as 37 weeks, so 32 weeks is really the latest I would want to start. That would allow you time to finish the whole program by 37 weeks and still have time to practice the tools sufficiently to have a great birth.
If you are starting closer to 35 weeks, here is a link to a Shortened Schedule.
If you are past 35 weeks and just finding out about Hypnobabies, call the main office, they have a special program for moms in your situation. It is not available online, you MUST call! "
