Teeth Grinding and Eye Rubbing

I have 2 questions. I'm just curious if anyone else's babies do this.

1. She rubs her eyes so hard it's like she bruises them. It looks horrible.

2. Ever since she got her 4th tooth the other day; she keeps grinding her teeth.

I just want to make sure these are normal "things". Both issues seem a little harmful so I just want to ease my mind. I have really bad TMJ and I don't want my daughter to start grinding her teeth.

No advice on the eye rubbing but when DD started grinding her teeth I would stick my finger in her mouth to stop her. Not sure if that's what made her stop or that the novelty of having teeth to grind wore off but she stopped doing it within a few days.

DS grinds his teeth all the time, but so do I. I have TMJ also, so maybe not the best example. I just assumed it was a habit and not much I could do about it.

My TMJ is actually from misalignment of my jaws. Both DH and I had small lower jaws. His was corrected when he was a young child. Mine wasn't corrected until I was an adult. Neither of us grind out teeth, but I know it can cause TMJ so it makes me nervous.
