Mom Problems

I've perfected the look-away. You know, when you're grocery shopping or out at Target and suddenly see someone you know, but you divert your eyes so you don't have to have a conversation because you have no make-up on, and you're probably covered in spit-up. I've become THAT person.

Anyone else have mom problems to share?

I do that too. Or if someone tries to start talking to me and I don't feel like speaking to them I say oh it's time for Alex to eat or sleep.

That I usually end up taking off my nail polish 30 minutes after I put it on because, even if the kids are in bed, someone ends up needing something and they get smudged. This is why I need to find some time to go out and have someone else do them!

I also tend to find spit up/food/glue/glitter/poop on SOMETHING that I wear every. Damn. Day.

I was bad with that before kids, now it's just embarrassing. I've left my phone in the shopping cart at the grocery store 3 times in the past 6 months :-SS

I showered and did my hair today and was feeling so nice and fresh. I then nursed baby and he spit up all over me. clean bra all soaked as were my clothes.

I constantly feel gross.

When we try to leave the park, a store, etc I turn into that crazy disheveled mom from the movies that has a screaming kicking toddler under one arm and is trying to lug a infant in a car seat under the other.

All I see are looks of pity from moms, looks of judgement from old people and looks of horror from people who have no kids.

I have become the crazy mom who goes around shushing people while my baby is sleeping. Like, everyone. I shushed my dad on Mother's Day and then felt bad. But not, because don't wake this kid up!! And I want to teach my husband to tiptoe since he clomps around so much.
