Pregnancy is driving my FI crazy.

The poor man.  He's spent the last several weeks discovering what it's (sorta) like to be pregnant.  He's peeing every 30 minutes. He has morning sickness and some cramping.  He's exhausted and super gassy, but the best part is the cravings.  It is pure hilarity (to me) to watch this man, who hates sweets, storm around the house at 11pm b/c he wants brownies and we have no mix.  There was also a fun little fit over wanting an apple crisp, but it was after midnight and nothing was open.  My favorites are the 2 times I've woken up at 2am to him cooking himself steak, saying he couldn't sleep b/c every time he closed his eyes all he could think of was steak.

The poor guy has gained about 15lbs.  He's counting down the days until my due date.  I'm not sure which he's looking forward to more, baby's birth or having his body back to normal.

=))

  • So funny, poor guy!!  I have moments where I think my DH is having some sympathy pains, but nothing to that level!
Supposedly some men may also feel labor pains while their partner is in labor.  He had a "just kill me now" look on his face when he read that.  I don't think it will go that far though.

  • Oh wow that poor guy! I've known some men that got m/s with their SO. The only thing weird DH has done is he went to the store and bought 6 boxes of brownie mix. He doesn't like sweets either.

Mine is having insomnia and food cravings.  Funny thing - I no longer have insomnia or food cravings.  Hmmmm.... :-?

My husband has some symptoms-frequent peeing, cravings and weight gain.  He also did with our first but not our second (strange).  But he knows better than to complain too much!!

  • Those are some severe sympathy symptoms! I have never heard of that syndrome. Although my H is enjoying the fact that I am craving dessert every night.

I feel bad for him, but I'm enjoying NOT having those symptoms.  I'm not peeing all the time, and the only things I crave are fruits.  It's so nice.
