Quick Fit Vid Day 17 - Upper Body & Check In

I am so sorry for being a slacker with these vids the past few days. I was testing them out before posting them, and that became difficult because I hurt my back. But I promise, I will get back on track.

I'm going to post two videos -- a body weight resistance one and an accessory one. Let me know what you think!

1) How have you been doing? Accomplishments? Obstacles?
2) QOTW: What is your motivation? (Whether it's to run a race, fit into a certain pair of jeans, strengthen your body to perform a task, etc.)

    1) Accomplishments? I took 4 really nice stroller walks last week.

    Obstacles? My back and hip problems are flaring from overuse at the dance studio and not enough rest. I have chronic SI joint dysfunction in my left hip, which leads to QL and hip flexor problems for me. :(

    2) QOTW: What is your motivation? I need to strengthen my back and heal my hip more than anything. (But I'd also love to be able to wear a bikini this summer...)

  • I liked the first two movements in the first video especially.

    1. Been doing great. My husband is out of town this week so I'm not going to the gym. It'll be a little tough to muster the willpower to get a good sweaty workout in on my own while he's gone. But I'll do it.

    2. Motivation is to keep my sanity. Working out consistently helps me do that, ha! Also my husband is a badass and I think we should match. That's my motivation this week.
