Thursday morning it was at 7,000 and saturday morning its 11,600. Dr said it still looks good. Im not sure if they are just trying to be hopeful with me so give it to me straight. Shouldn't it have doubled within 48 hrs?
Once it gets to a certain point (I'm not sure what that level is) they stop doubling every 48 hours and it takes 72-96 hours to double. Sounds like good numbers to me!

At hCG levels in early pregnancy below 1,200 mIU/ml, the hCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours and it should normally increase by at least 60% every two days.
Between 1,200 and 6,000 mIU/ml serum hCG levels in early pregnancy, the hCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double.
Above 6,000 mIU/ml, the hCG often takes over four or more days to double.
After 9-10 weeks of the pregnancy hCG levels normally decrease. - See more at: https://www.babymed.com/hcg-level-in-early-pregnancy#sthash.86GfjY3q.dpuf
I realize it's from babymed, but I don't have time to do much more searching right now...

Ditto the other ladies...once your numbers get above a certain point, the doubling time slows. My re had me stop betas once they got above 1500 because he said that the slow down in doubling time can cause undue worry for some mamas.

betabase.info is another great site to help you see the expected slow down of doubling. It is a collection of pregnancies that have been confirmed with a heartbeat and what the median, highest recorded, and lowest recorded betas and doubling times are for single, twin, or 3+ gestations. You are a bit over the median, but weeeeelll below the high end for doubling times (50-60 hours was the median doubling time on betabase for the levels you listed, your doubling was 66). I think that looks great! ((hugs))
I had my betas done around 6 weeks, and the doctor told me at that point that they take closer to 3-4 days to double. At 5w4d I believe my level was around 8000, and never had a draw after that. Your numbers sound just fine!
