Pregnant after IF

Small Sac but heard the heartbeat?

Looking for your success stories... I'm supposed to be 7 weeks 1 day, but I'm measuring slightly behind at around 6 weeks 4 or 6 weeks 6 days according to the doc.  My gestational sac is on the small side still but he didn't give me measurements.  The baby is 6.68mm with a heartbeat of 127bpm which we are super excited about... just concerned as the doctor seemed to be too that the sac is still small and the yolk sac seems a bit large...

  • My baby never measured on track. There is some human error at that stage since the baby is so small. My baby is also in the 33rd percentile but perfectly fine so I also just grew a small baby according to my DR. The heartbeat is great but I know it's hard to not worry.
  • Thank you all so much! My Nurse called me back she said my HCG level went from 3500 up to 15000, Progesterone is over 35! And that the heartbeat and all levels are perfect! Last appt for ultrasound is 5/20 then if all is still good we are discharged! craziness

That isn't too far behind. They can range at that stage and even further along too. I was 5 days ahead at one point and then he evened himself out again. FX that yours is just adjusting and that's all it is! Great HB though! :)

  • Mine were dismal at the beginning. I went in at 6 weeks for a scan and all we saw were two empty sacs, not even a yolk was visible. Went back a week later and had 2hbs in the 130 range but were still measuring 8 days behind. They finally caught up at 16 weeks. Even my RE said the scans this early are really hard to get solid info from. The u/s machines just aren't as good as all of us IFers wish they were. Hang in there and many t&ps for a great update! a good hb is definitley a great sign!!
