First Day back to work

Well, it's not so bad.  Of course it is only 9:36...  My lo usually wakes up 7:30 to 8am but this morning either I disturbed him (doubtful he sleeps through loud tv, dogs barking, his brothers playing/talking loudly, etc), or he knew something was up and stirred / cranked up at 6am.  It was ok though I could give him a bottle and hug and smooch on him awake.

My heart goes out to all of my fellow M14ers returned/ or returning to work.

    I was supposed to go back today , but with DD in the hospital it's been put off for 2 more weeks . I'm really just putting off the inevitable . My heart goes out to all you mommies back at work , I'm truly dreading it ! :((

    Good luck to you guys back at work! I have about four weeks left, and I'm already dreading it. And I'm only going back part time! I really admire anyone who works full time right after the baby... you ladies are amazing!

    @futuremrstonyasmith, I hope Harper's back to full health quickly, so you get a little more time to snuggle her at home!

    I'm going to work next Monday -- starting a NEW JOB with a 12-week-old. I'm nervous about how I'll handle the stress of a new job while having such a young baby.

    That's when I go back too. I was supposed to go back today but they're moving all the stuff around in my office so that I can get the swing in there and such, and since someone is currently using myou office it's going to take a couple of days. I get to bring LO, so I'm way lucky, I just worry how good I'll be at getting everything done and taking care of Cooper in the way she needs to be cared for all day.

    I'm going back Thursday, and don't trust my mother-in-law with the twins. I don't have much of a choice as far as day care since we can't afford to put 2 in a day care facility. To make things worse I am an ultrasound tech and work 1 hour from home so am on call after my first shift.... Meaning I'll be away from the babies over 24 hours :-(

    I went back this morning. And I'm not going to lie. It. Was. Heaven. I miss Baby sooo much, but it feels so good to be stretching my work brain again. And it was so much fun to come home to him! I'm all re-thankful for my momma taking such good care of him while I work :x

    I hope your first day back went well, both actually and emotionally. My heart sinks when I read tees posts and think about how little time I have left to be home with LO. Even when the days are long and I'm tired and frustrated, I don't want to spend so many hours away from her. Hugs to all the working mommas!

    ardmj80  my heart goes to you and those with really long hours, with my commute time 10-11 hours is long and hard enough!  Yes @ coreyelizit is so hard, I'm really jealous of the SAHers and the part-timers, and the bring lo's to workers!  Good for them and I'm sure they have their own challenges (I know they do!), but they get to see their little beauties more often than me...

    ErinE683 thank you!  Its just tough being a mom no matter what and we all need support!

    akflutterby Yesterday was ok and it was probably harder on my dh who is staying home with our little man.  It is not a choice he wanted to make but due to his health he is out of work (has been for 10 months..) so I am so happy lo is with him but it's emotionally difficult for both my husband and myself, atleast the way I see it Levi is the benefactor!

    Hope your day goes well.

    I go back today from 1pm - 9pm. Worst shift. I'm so sad to leave my baby :(

    I hope your day goes well. I went back last week and it was so hard to leave her but once I got there I was ok. It was so busy that my 11 hour shift somehow flew right by! Plus I got to AW Maizey's pics to all my Co workers who asked about her.
