Ugh! I got my period today. LO is EBF and 23 weeks/5 mos. 11 days old. I haven't changed anything and she still hasn't eaten any solids. What does this mean for me? Will my supply drop?
You may experience a.slight drop before or during your cycle. LO will likely respond by wanting to nurse more frequently. Don't let.this scare you into thinking your supply is inadequate-it's baby's way of telling your body to up production. It should.return to normal.

I'm sitting here WANTING mine to return! I'm ready to do this thing again, and my clock is ticking loudly! I only nurse 4 times per day (DD gets a bottle from Dad at bedtime), and most nights she sleeps 12 ish hours. Still no period or any signs. Humph!

Mine came back 7 weeks pp, I noticed a slight dip in supply the week before which my OB chalked up to hormonal changes as your body adjusts. Everything went back to normal after it stopped and no issues since.
@mamagplus4chix Yes! We had two kids right off the bat, then I had my tubes tied while life was crazy with two littles and lots of time in the hospital with my oldest.
Fast forward 8 years to when life was gett ing back to normal and I had my tubes untied. Took 3 years to get a sticky pregnancy.
And after DD passed away, my cycle whacked out - got a period every 18 to 91 days, along with pre menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. Just got in a habit of taking a pregnancy test every 4 weeks.
So who knows how long it might take this time! We want to fill our house, which means at least 3 more!
