For those of you who's this is your second or third (or more) are you doing a gift exchange between the siblings? What gifts are you having them exchange?
We are doing a big sister bag for the day she comes to the hospital to meet her sister. I will just do little snacks and coloring activities. Just a few small things to make her feel special!
With #2, I got my daughter a book and toy "from the baby" and gave them to her at the hospital. This time, no plans yet, but just came across this on Pinterest and thought it was cute...
I don't think we'll have DS1 give anything to his baby brother. We will have the baby give DS1 a present though. I still remember the presents I got when my sister was born and the age difference is about the same.
I'll just wait to see if his obsessions have changed by August but it will probably be a new car or truck. We own nearly every construction truck known to man by this point, but we'll see what we think he might like.
Undecided. Mainly Bc I can't think of what to give her, but I will most likely give her something from the baby. Just to soften the blow that it's really a brother, Bc she keeps telling everyone it's a "baby sistah" when asked and even after I correct her

Haha if we ask DS what his brother's name should be he says sister.
We plan to get a small gift from the baby to DD and have her wear her big sister shirt. We also will have her give the baby a small gift. I doubt it will mean a whole bunch to her though bc she is so young still.
We are getting her an American doll bitty baby because she has been asking for it since she found one of those catalogues. Also I still remember when my sister was born and my mom got me a cabbage patch doll (the popular thing at the time) and it was so special for me. I want DD to feel that way too.
We don't do sibling gifts, per se, but they each will get a new electronic kids toy. It gives Daddy something to help them learn while I'm focused on the new baby in the early days.
I'm not sure I'll get anything for DS "from the baby" but I think he would think that is strange (he is one of those kids that would ask...how did the baby get this for me, etc). But I do think we'll get him something new to give to him at some point close after the birth since people will probably be bringing the new baby presents.
DS is picking out a lovey for the baby ... probably taggy blankets. And I think it would be extra cute if he brings them to the hospital when he comes to visit. We'll see.

J has an Angel Dear lovey (brown puppy), so we got LO the Bunny version, he will give that to her in the hospital, and "she" will give him the book
