Re: Exercise Thread...anybody?
My "exercise" is keeping up with and still managing to lift/carry my (almost) 2yr old and walking around at outdoor events on the weekends with DH and DD.
Also - stairs are hard, yo!
I am not walking b/c I don't want to bring on labor - not that it WOULD, but I'm not chancing it. I am already going to be induced at 39 weeks and I don't really want him to come before then.
I am still doing my pregnancy workout DVD (mostly just arms and some legs, strength training). It's only maybe a 20 minute set so it doesn't feel like too much.

I still cannot believe I was able to run into my 40th week, but today I've officially retired my running shoes until after this baby is born. This baby is sitting high and tight, which is why I think I was able to run for so long, but I finally started having contractions last night so only walking for me. I remember reading that active moms tend to deliver early or on time, but guess that is totally not the case. It is also incredibly frustrating when people ask me if the baby is here yet and I say no, and then they suggest going for a walk. HELLO, how about I'm still running! It's frustrating hearing all this advice when in the end, LO will come when she's good and ready.
Going to start walking next week, but won't be able to do much more until 8 weeks after my C/S.
Great job to the mamas who have been keeping it up!
