  I started mine at 13 weeks because all these different sources say between 12-14 weeks. So I picked the one in the middle and that's what I went with. A few days doesn't make a load of a difference anyways.

  I'm going to consider 13weeks my start date. Due dates can fluctuate so much I don't think 1 day would make a different.

  I have never heard that one certain day is correct.   My ticker said last week was the beginning of the 2nd trimester.    That was for 12 weeks.   I have been telling people that I am 3 months pregnant.....if you assume each month has 4 weeks,  thats correct,  but if you consider I didn't get pregnant til late February, then I shouldn't be 3 months til late May.     There are different ways to count it.

  Ok dokey,so guess what I'm in my second trimester, WOOT WOOT!  Furthest I've ben along after my daughter and the longest ever ever without being hospitalized!   I'm so flipping excited today, I don't even know how to keep it a secret!!!   My MIL and my mom don't know yet just a couple of people!!!

  My doc said that technically it starts at 12 weeks and that the 3 tri starts on week 28.  She said it is not jsut a division it goes based on growth?  I am not really all that sure but if you divide 40 by 3 it is 13.3, so based on that I would saw welcome to the 2nd Tri. 

  I consider myself already in it since my doc said so..

  If you use this calculator, it gives your 3 different trimester dates - one based on the development of the baby, one based on dividing 40 weeks by 3, and on based on dividing 38 weeks (the number of actual pregnancy weeks) by 3.  https://www.baby2see.com/trimester_calculator.html

  I've read so many conflicting things saying its anywhere between weeks 12-14.  I wanted to be on the safe side so I celebrated entering my second trimester when I hit 14 weeks.  I think a few days one way or the other make no difference, so congrats iheartscraps on entering your second trimester!!!
