Where do you store your vaccuum?

Just curious

Ours is in the closet of the kids' toy room. The room used to be our office. There just never was any other place that made sense. We have a hall closet where it would fit but it's where DH and I hang our jackets so kinda odd place for the vaccuum. Anywho... where's yours?

Ours is in the coat closet too, by the front door. It's a small closet but sort of deep, so all of our coats and winter gear are hanging and then the vacuum kind of sits in front of them. I have shoe racks in the front too for all of our boots and tennis shoes and then our broom is in there for easy access to the kitchen and dining room.

Front closet also, with our coats. It's the only place it really can go unless I put it in the basement and if I had to haul the vacuum up from there, I'd probably never vacuum....

Upstairs family room since the upstairs is where most of the carpet is. We have a cordless stick vacuum as well that lives in the mud room on the main floor. I use it for the hardwood.

I keep ours in the garage. I vacuum downstairs every other night. DH vacuums upstairs once a week, so it makes sense for us to have it downstairs and the garage is really the only place we have room for it.

Sadly, it's in DS room. I need to clean out my guest closet and stick it in there. It's low on the priority list.

In our kitchen. We have 3 closets in our house and they are all crammed top to bottom- no attic basement or garage. So excited to move on Sunday.

We have a large main floor laundry room that has a full size closet. I store the vacuum cleaner in that closet along with the mop & bucket.

It belongs in the laundry room in the basement but usually gets left in the office upstairs. Makes more sense as i vacuum the bedrooms most often.

In our entry way closet, which also doubles as the water heater closet. It's small and stuffed with winter coats, sports equipment, the vacuum, broom, and mop.

Ours is in a small secondary closet in our master bedroom that is supposed to function as a "coat closet." In our new house it will be in a room off the laundry area that will serve as a pantry/storage room.

It sounds weird but it fits perfectly pushed up against the cupboards outside the hall bath because there's a space where the cupboards don't reach the floor. We actually have 2 vacuums because we used to have a 2 story so the other one is in the coat closet
