Congrats to all the BFPs and ((hugs)) to those that need them!
If you are finally getting your BFP, please PM me so I don't miss it! Also this helps me avoid posting an ambiguous BFP if you're not ready to officially call it.
Reply to this post if you would like your information updated. Please post an update at least monthly so I know you are still active - even if your info hasn't changed. You will be removed if you go more than four weeks without posting.
If you would like to be added or updated, please answer the questions below:
1. What is your name (if you want to share)?
2. When did you start TTC (month/year)?
3. What is your diagnosis (if you have one)?
4. What treatments are you doing?
For everyone who is up to date on the above, where are you in your current cycle and how's it going?

~~~January 3T Siggy Challenge: New Year's Resolutions~~~
(I don't do resolutions...so I stole T-Rex's)
AFM I'm just trucking along on my birth control pills. I still have 2 weeks left before we start the IVF process. I've just been getting my meds situated and money together. I'm ready to get this going.
I'm going to try to do an IVF check in when I sit down long enough at a computer and look for where it was left off. If anyone knows I'd really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
@emilee871 Pride and Prejudice was on yesterday, I recorded it hoping to watch it today. I love it.!!
I have so many chick flix's. I like some of the older ones ..... Pretty in Pink, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, Steel Magnolia's .... I know there are more but I'm drawing a blank right now.
@rumbera28 Good luck on the job front!
GL tomorrow, @jencity9!
Good luck with your medicated cycle, @sewfie
@StacyLH24 Sorry your cycle got cancelled. :-(
AFM, tonight is my last day of Clomid. I stair-stepped to 150mg. I'm on CD17. I go back for monitoring tomorrow. I'll update more then.
QOTW- I'm not a huge movie fan. I guess I like 50 First Dates and some other cheesy rom-coms though.
Q: I'm not really a chick flick person, but I would have to say Fireproof. It's about a husband and wife on the verge of divorce and the husband (Kirk Cameron) is challenged by his dad to give it 40 days. He gives him a journal with a Love Dare. Each day, he has to so something to improve the marriage. Don't say anything negative, do something nice, etc. My mom was really into chick flicks and always wanted me to watch it. I only wish I had given it a chance when she was still alive. It was awesome!
Hi Ladies! Good luck to everyone in their 2WW! Hugs to everyone too
We had a little bit of a back and forth this cycle. We had decided to do IVF so I started BC, then decided to give IUI one more shot for my DH's comfort. So I'm not sure what cycle day I am bc of the pills, but I started Follistim last night. I did bleed after I stopped the pills, so I'd guess I'm CD4 today. I will go in for an u/s Thursday. I imagine that if I respond, my IUI will be sometime next week. The RE said I may not respond well due to the BC, but I had to try.
QOTW: I love chick flicks & all movies in general. I think my favorite chick flicks are Beaches, Notting Hill, 3 Men and a Baby/Lady & Father of the Bride!
Edit to add a movie
I am right between egg retrieval and egg transfer. We had 16 retrieved, 12 mature and 8 fertilized. Today is day 3 and they called and pushed me to a 5 day transfer which is good as long as they keep going for 2 more days!!! I am such a nervous wreck. I guess we all are during this process. It is nice knowing that for 2 more days I can enjoy life before they basically put me on "light duty" for 2 weeks.
QOTW: I'm going to say Mannequin, just b/c it's been on "E" a lot lately. Love that movie!
@bocaburger I’m sorry you’re having a hard time recently. I hope things calm down for you soon.
@kushie77 I’m sorry you’re benched. I hope you and your husband can come up with a plan soon. I don’t really know your details, but I think seeing a therapist is a great way to talk through differences in opinions about something so important like that.
@jaytee16 FX! Are you testing, or waiting it out?
I have an update: I am going to trigger tomorrow (Tuesday) night and my IUI will be Thursday! I had one 17mm follicle this morning. I am kind of bummed that we only had 1 follicle after stair-stepping to the highest dose of Clomid (that my RE gives), but I am still thankful to be ovulating. I'm also going to be ovulating 6 days earlier than last cycle, and I'm pretty pumped about that!
HSG- showed graying in one spot/Saline Sono- showed 5mm polyp
DH SA - abnormal - 36%motility on both SA's (count and morph ok on SA1, a little off SA2)
1/10/14 - Hysteroscopy to remove 5mm polyp
1/12/14- Medicated Cycle 1: 50mg Clomid + Ovidrel + TI = BFN
2/15/14 - Medicated Cycle 2: 100mg Clomid + Ovidrel + TI = BFN
3/18/14 - IUI Cycle 1: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
Upped Levothyroxine to 50mg - tested at 2.62
4/17/14 - IUI Cycle 2: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
Break!
6/21/14: IUI Cycle 3: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI
*All are welcome*
We met with our RE today to get our most recent SA results and make a plan. I was thrilled that our SA results were count 12 million, motility 60% and morph 2%. That is a huge improvement for us! Our Re said that we could now try an iui, so we are skipping next cycle because of vacation but will do our 1st iui at the end of June. He said we would try one and see how the sperm holds up when washed. If the post wash numbers aren't good, he recommends moving to ivf, but if they are good we will try 3 cycles. I am happy just to have a shot and not have to move directly to ivf.
My favorite chick flick is The Notebook. I love it!
Hey Ladies-
Congrats to all the recent BFPs and (((hugs))) to those who need them.
Not much new going on with me. I'm starting a new supplement tomorrow morning (Inositol) which has an excellent reputation for helping women with PCOS manage insulin, in conjunction with the diet plan I'm following. I'll give it a month to see if it helps my IR. I'm resisting Metformin as long as I can.
QOTW: Ugh, just one? I'm a shameless chick-flick addict. Sweet Home Alabama is the one I can watch over and over, though.
@MissEm15 My DH has been taking L-carnitine (two a day), CoQ10, antioxidants, and a men's multi vitamin. He has also been taking clomid. He started taking all of this the first week of December. All of this was recommended by our uro. Our RE did blood work on DH first and thought his hormones looked ok. The uro said that DH's testosterone was low for a guy his age. He said that chart most RE's use is based on older men, so according to that chart his testosterone was ok. So basically the clomid has raised his testosterone which helps sperm production.
My DH has also cut alcohol down to 4 drinks per week, because that is what the uro recommended.
Hope that helps. Good luck with your upcoming iui!
