Where do you buy it? Approx how much is it?
And does it really help increase supply?

    Worked wonders for me

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    I was on 4 tabs 4x a day to get max benefit. Start on a smaller dose and find what works for you

    I get mine from GNC it's like $12 a bottle and my LC recomended 2 capsules three times a day

    Sidenote: If you have thyroid issues, fenugreek can decrease your supply. Just wanted to throw that out there. Doesn't happen to all moms with thyroid issues, but it could.

    I bought mine at Walgreen but it was More Milk +. Did the same thing. Really helped up my supply.

    I got my fenugreek from my local health store. It was about $14.00 It did wonders with my milk supply and my boob size! I kept taking them even after I was done breastfeeding and my boobs look and feel so full. Idk why people get boob jobs when they can just take these things lol

    Hello, I am new to this board. I had our baby boy on May 5th, so it's day 6 and I am being recommended to supplement with formula.

    I would like to add to this thread: how soon did you start taking fenugreek?

    I am producing colostrum and now 15ml every 2 hours (pumping). He lost about 12% of his weight and was at an 8% of his weight yesterday. We started supplementing on day 3. It's frustrating because he was finally latching, even if for short periods but now he won't. He has a clear preference towards the bottle. So now I want to at least work towards giving him more breast milk even if he's getting it through the bottle.

    All the advice that I have received was from the LC, I will be seeing them on Monday for another weight-in.

    Any questions I should bring up on Monday?

    Thank you! Great advice. I am actually going to try the shields before then. We are using the comotomo slow flow bottle.

    The LC I consulted recommended using a Medela Supplemental Nursing System instead of bottles. 

    Talk to your LC about using these instead of a bottle. If you have to supplement, this mimics sucking time for you and helps to encourage milk production, which you do not get by supplementing with a bottle.

    I took Fenugreek, Shatavari, and Goat's Rue... 1 pill 4X a day to increase milk supply. I did so because my LO lost 16% of birth weight due to undiagnosed tongue tie until I got a LC consult.

    TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d).
    TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2  born March 2014 (40w1d).
