If you're feeling old, remember that to some people you might still be just 'a kid'...
We have an offer pending on a vacation house and our realtor was relaying to us the comments of the seller after one of the counter offers. The seller is a retired college prof who wants to move back closer to family. We wrote one of those 'dear seller' letters to personalize it and in hopes of influencing her in a positive way. We put some pictures of K in there and a pic of the ultrasound print... Well one of her comments was something to the tune 'they seem like nice kids and would like to make it work...' I got so worked up about that haha... I'm sorry I'm a what?? We're in our late 30s and just because we look young and in shape and we have a young child doesn't mean we're one of your college students...
MH told me to chill and take it as a compliment, which I guess he's right about.
So anytime you feel old at a doc's office or something, remember it is all relative.

Have a great weekend!
Re: If you're feeling old... (not pregnancy related)
I don't complain, just say thank you. And tell DH to suck it when he says I'm "old".

Sometimes I feel old but no one ever believes I am 40. My OB is even surprised. Have to admit does make me feel good. Plus I don't wear makeup so it is even better
