We just found out at an elective ultrasound yesterday (at 17 weeks) that we are expecting twin girls! We are very excited but also shocked and overwhelmed so I plan on lurking here for awhile and reading your experience.
Congrats! I have to ask, did you have any prior ultrasounds? Just wondering how they missed the two girls!
I had a dating ultrasound at 9 weeks. The tech said likely one was hiding behind the other. And thank you!!
They missed ours at the first US too - made that second U/S so much more shocking. I had a nightmare that they would find a 3rd one at the 3rd U/S and my specialist told me he has heard that several times lol. We ended up with twin girls, too (team green!) I LOVE THEM to pieces!
