Double Stroller Question

Does anyone know of a store that carries double stroller on their sales floor so you can actually look at them? I'm between the Baby Jogger Citi Mini and the Britax B-Agile Double (leaning towards the Britax) and I'd really like to actually play with them before I order one offline. Thanks!

I'm not sure about big box stores with strollers in stock. But I love the city mini! It is such a great compact size and it has the swivel wheel in front for easy turning.
Maybe you could put an ad on your local craigslist and a mama will let you come look at hers.

Bru had a few out, i dont remember what brands. I looked at the sit and stands, at least one of them you could use 2 carseats, but they looked too long for my car.

i don't think i've seen any double strollers at BRU around here. i'm more inclined to lean towards a tandem stroller than side by side. they just seem so wide, even when they're not. which makes me sad because i LOVE my city mini and i hate to part with it. part of me wonders if i can wear one child and put the other in the city mini.

Like PP said, I would recommend going to Buy Buy Baby. They have the largest selection of strollers in store to try out. BRU never has very many on the floor.

I'm a FTM but thought I'd put in my two cents... My mom was at babies r us the other day and saw this stroller https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=20S3_GTUwPM

It's the Britax B-Ready and it is amazing. Lucky for us, it is being discontinued and is therefore EXTREMELY discounted. It'll fit any of the Britax infant seats and the second seat holds up to 55lbs. It's a little wider than the B-Agile, but I love it!

You may want to check any boutique type baby stores in your area as well- we have one called Baby's 1st furniture and they are the only ones in the area that had some of the higher end doubles in stock to play with (City Mini and Select as well as Bob and Britax). I'm seriously considering the Baby Jogger City Mini GT. The only downside I've seen for it so far is the bar that divides the basket entry- I don't love that but I can't seem to find one stroller that has everything I want

We drove both and felt the city mini drove better. Also check the serial numbers. Some britax strollers were recalled recently. Also, it's a different story when it's a single stroller and a double. I love my city mini but don't want the double city mini. I'm considering the select but hate that I will lose the one hand fold.

@carcrashheart - I like the select- I just know that I would want the baby in the spot closest to me and which puts DD (and the heaviest part) up front which I feel like would be really tough to maneuver, especially up curbs which I've heard is tough with tandems. I'm very torn!

I was looking at the countours optima? I am 90% sure that's what it is called. Our BRU only has 1. It's not great. We have no buy buy baby. So I was walking in the mall one day and saw this family with it in the food court. I was such a fricken creeper and looked at it and asked them about it haha

Do you have a USA Baby close by? The nearest one is about an hour away from is but it was worth the drive to check them out. They had the largest selection of doubles. I think we are going with the Baby Jogger City Select.

I live near NOTHING

I've been watching youtube videos so that's a help, but when I visit my family in a month or so I'll check out USA baby and BBB! Thanks so much for all the input!
