Stomach virus - how long?

LO has a stomach virus. We know this because we've all had it. It lasted less than 24 hours in the adults. His stomach is still very iffy though. He came down with it on Wednesday, which was the worst day. He's thrown up at least once a day since then though.

My question is for those of you who have been through this with your LOs how long did it last before it was over? Did the throwing up last for several days?

    Just depends on the baby. DH and I had it awhile back. Each of us were sick for 2 days but J didn't get back to normal for about 10 days. Feel better soon!

    My lo had it she was sick for 2 days but out of it for about 10 days

    C (and me) have had 2 bouts of a stomach bug. One, a month ago, lasted close to 2 weeks (for both of us), and we just got over another round a few days ago, but it was closer to a 24-48 hour bug. It really just depends, just make sure your giving him lots of fluids.

    Yeah, he's been happy the whole time. I'm just ready for fewer diapers and not cleaning up throw up any more.
