Best Newborn Activity Gym

Recommendations? My little boy is one week old today and I'm seeing how much he likes to move/tummy time and this is the only thing I didn't prebuy. Thank you! :-)

    We have the Skip Hop zoo animal one. Nothing to compare it to but LO likes it! Lots of textures, noises, colors.

    Another vote for the kick n play piano. We've moved the mirror around a lot so DS can look at himself - he loves it!!!

    I have skip hop tree friends and fisher price jungle. LO likes both but prefers the FP one when we turn on the jungle sounds.

    I bought the Infantino one that turns into a ball pit for when she's older. Right now she doesn't care much for laying down on it. She'd rather sit up and watch me make noises with the toys and look at herself in the little mirror.

    I really love the vintage infantino gym


    It's not really anything but a gym, but I wanted something simple that had some nice hanging toys that make different sounds and have different textures. Plus it has a mirror which both ds and now dd really favor

    We have a Bright Starts gym that a friend gave us, the mat part has different textures for tummy time, it has rings to hang different toys on and then a mirror on the side.

    I have this one too and DS really likes it. Plus the fabric is great for wiping up the inevitable tummy time spit up.

    I run away from complicated, large, overstimulating baby toys (womp, womp), so we have this one from IKEA... it can accept any hanging toy and plastic links, so it's great for minimalist parents like me:

    Just wondering when in the day do uI hsve time for bsby to use the activity gym? Between feedings, diaper changes and putting bsby to sleep, I'm looking to make time for other activities for my baby. TIA!

    DS is very alert/a awake for about an hour almost every morning and late afternoon. He tends to be most calm in the morning so that's when we take advantage and use the kick n play piano.

    We use our play mat (FP jungle one) morning and afternoon. My LO is alert for about 3 hours in the morning and 2-3 in the late afternoon. Mornings work better if he's fussy in the afternoon, which he tends to be lately.

    Wish I woulda seem the ikea one before purchasing the baby Einstein one!!!

    I like the BE one and used a similar version for DD but I feel like it makes our house look even messier bc of all the stuff it has. The simpler one would be nice!
