  We get towels from Ikea too, although we use the waffle-y textured bathroom towels instead of kitchen ones. They're super absorbant!

  while i love the look of the flour sack ones, IME they are not absorbent for hand drying. i'll use them to lay out on the counter to air dry stuff but that's it.  though i haven't bought any in years...my mom buys tons of them for me. i always see pretty ones in stores & can't justify buying them.

  I like white bar mop towels for functionality. I buy pretty colored/decorative ones at target to hang up for drying hands after washing. The rest I keep in the cupboard by the sink

  Mine are from cooks of crocus hill and they badly need to be replaces. I'll probably get some at kohks or jcpennys since I get coupons and never know what to spend it on.

  I'm an old bitty - I change my towels based on the holiday or season. And I always buy towels on clearance after each holiday, usually at Target. I'm not even exaggerating, I have like 50 kitchen towels! Most of which I bought on clearance And some still have tags on them! I might be addicted to buying kitchen towels ">
