What are your Mother's Day plans?

We're taking the kids to the amusement park. It's never busy on Mother's Day especially in the morning. I can't ride much so I sit, read and eat funnel cake & cheesy fries. It's a win for everyone.

Dh and the boys are making me chicken and waffles (aka, a mess) for breakfast. Then not much tbh. Celebrated with my mom last weekend, mil is out of town. Prob do some laundry, maybe out to dinner.

It's sweet when the kids cook together, but the aftermath is terrifying @bluepointtoasted. Just eat and enjoy the food before looking into the kitchen.

I decided to invite my mom over for brunch. We'll drink all the mimosas. Later DH, the girls, and I will hit a nature trail or something for a family walk.

Then, depending on how DS is feeling (he's finally getting over being sick), I'd love to go to the zoo...but thats a maybe.

@luckydad reminded me how much MD brunching sucks, so I'm doing Zumba and then making my H take me out for frozen yogurt, because that's definitely not counterintuitive. >.>

My mom is having DD, my sister and her DH and in laws over for brunch at her house- bagels, deli turkey, corned beef, potato salad and coleslaw is on the menu. I was hoping for 70's and sunshine but all we are going to get tomorrow is 70's. Cant have everything I guess!

DH and J are going to make me breakfast. Neither can cook much so I requested bagel and lox, fresh berries and copious mimosas. Then I will drink dial my mom to chat while she opens her present from me. Them sober up so I can prepare dinner for DH and the in-laws. The in laws are visiting from out of state and conveniently forgot it was Mother's Day tomorrow. Fishy. I wish places were not so crowded otherwise we'd be eating out and I can't leave it up to DH to grill the chicken. I wear the grilling pants in this family.

I got my special day today (got to sleep in and do some shopping sans toddler). Tomorrow we will go to my moms for lunch, and then take the kids to the park to play and feed the ducks.

Dh has a soccer match in the am. We will make brunch (eggs,bacon ect.) when he gets home. Just going to have a relaxing day. Most of my family is oot for a wedding.

H is supposedly letting me sleep in then making brunch for us and his parents. The baby is in a loud pterodactyl-sounding screech phase so I'm not sure how much sleep there'll be but I'll take it.

DH offered for us to go to breakfast tomorrow and I commented that everyone will be out for breakfast. He said that we would just get up and go early...umm, no. I know one thing for certain. I am sleeping in like crazy tomorrow. Like, I might wake up, get some coffee, eat a little, and then go back to sleep until 10 or something. DH agreed to run out and get donuts or something so that I could stay in my jammies.

Well that's rude. I'd never send my kids uninvited to someone's house to play on mother's day. I know not everyone has grand plans, but it's still a day for family time for many people.

I love those shows @lindsrockies. We took the kids to the Bugs Bunny Symphony one and they loved it. I have to see what is lined up for this summer. It'd be fun to go again.

Honestly? Nothing much. Due to Reese's compromised immune system I am very nervous about taking her to a restaurant on the busiest day of the year--even if I would love to go out for breakfast! I did go out with my parents tonight for dinner and to Target and Barnes and Nobles, while DH stayed home with Reese.

I did request breakfast brought in if we don't go out for it--pork roll egg and cheese (on a kaiser roll). Monday I start my diet again

So I need one last hurrah!

Most likely nothing or I'll be stuck at his mom's house. I honestly just want to sleep in or have an hour or 2 alone, but he worked today and is currently with his brother so I hardly doubt I will get to sleep in.

You better believe we have to make a big fucking deal about father's day though.

Going to the cemetery to visit my mom and then having early dinner with Dh's family. We go to Central Gyro every year and I freaking love that place.

I'm pretty sure Dh and the kids got me a fitbit. Fingers crossed!

We have no real plans, but DH is going to get muffins from the muffin place right now. He was gonna let me sleep in, but I woke up at 6:45 and couldn't go back to sleep! UGH.

Going to the inlaws' house later for dinner, but I have a soccer game at 6:00 so I won't be eating, which is fine with me.

Not much. We had a cookout at the inlaws yesterday. Today DH is making us breakfast and later he'll grill. We'll hang out on the deck for the first time this spring. Should be a nice relaxing day.

I got a girls night out last weekend for Mother's Day. A friend and I got pedis and had tex mex and margaritas while our Hs watched the girls.

We had breakfast with h's fam yesterday. Our ac went outast night so we are waiting for the ac guy and just hanging out. We will go to a late lunch with my fam and then stop by to see his extended fam.

DH has to work, so I may go by and thieve his debit card to buy myself some bakery fresh chocolate cake.
