What a Week

Oh the milestones we have reached this week, a week shy of turning one. This week both boys learned to say hi. D says it more frequently than C and C would prefer to say ow, wow. C has learned to walk using the sit and stand walker. He's tried a couple times to do it on his, but he isn't quite there yet. It is crazy to think he is at this point when he just started standing without holding on to things this past Saturday. And then today we discovered we have a biter. D bit C at daycare and left a nice mark of all four teeth on C's arm. :( 

The boys' birthday is next Friday and I can't figure out where the time went, but I am having a ton of fun watching these two little men grow. Their party is next Sunday and I need to get on the party supply/decorating train.

1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!

    I am in the same boat PM. My LO is 1 a week after your twins, where had the year gone. Today he took a step between 2 sofas so as are close to a walker here. He talks a but too, he copies a lot of words we say which is cute.

    Hope the party planning goes well

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    Sounds like a very eventful week! Good luck with the party planning -- I am sure it will be great. I also love watching N toddle around with her sit n' stand walker.
    IUIs #1-3 (1x unmedicated, 2x Clomid) = 2 BFNs, 1 m/c at 7w3d
    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN
    FET #1 = BFN
    FET #2 = BFN
    IVF #2 = BFP, b/g twins lost at 20w due to partial abruption/PPROM

    Long-shot Clomid/Prednisone cycle before next IVF = BFP, our beautiful, healthy girl born 6/26/13!

    So exciting! I feel like this time is going by in fast forward. Just this morning, DH and I were talking about how different they've become in the 7 mos since their bday. I find myself missing my little babies, but really looking forward to seeing their little personalities develop. Hoping for a fabulous and memorable first bday for your babies!

    ETA: Its so funny you say that about the biting. DS1 only ever bites or hits DS2. Everyone else is safe from his wrath!

    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    Ladies you are all right and I love the growth that has developed as they have gotten older. I truly can't wait to see how they continue to grow and how much fun is still to come. They make me smile and laugh everyday no matter how bad or good my day has been. I hope you all have a great Mother's Day tomorrow. :)
