So first off, I may need to reintroduce myself because I haven't played on TB for like three months! Whoopsies! Long story short, the baby appeared and then busy and then went on trips and then springtime after polar vortex and I shunned all internetz, but now I'm back to a routine (maybe kinda) so I get Bump time again! Woo!
Also, my baby is cute and fat and delightful and I wish all happy baby times for everyone out there on Feb 14 :-)
But the point of this post - my munchkin is 3 months and 2 days old and already has a tooth. It showed up a few days ago! I thought this teething business happened a few months down the road. Anyone else have babes with toofers coming in? (I apologize if there's already been a thread on this!)

We can feel a tooth through her gums (my sister confirmed it for me today, she's got 3 kids under 5 and knows what teeth feel like), but hasn't popped through yet.

My first teethed early too and lost her first tooth when she was barely five, so it will probably mean your LO loses teeth early too.
@Codypup - unusually fussy and drool city. My baby also chews his hands and growls at them in his sleep. He also literally chases my knuckles to chew on them and yell at them.My first would sometimes get a low grade fever when teething.
Teething will have other symptoms too.
Yeah my l'il fella started drooling a lot a few weeks back, and then gnawing on anything and everything with his gums. I could tell his gums were bothering him.. and then lo and behold, a tooth!
I think we're a way out from teeth here. Drooly and chewing on things but I don't feel anything and he isn't fussy. DS1 he'd to get a red spot on the cheek on the side of his face the tooth was coming in and his nose would run like crazy. I wonder if this LO will get the dot.
Just waiting for it to break through!
Sorry for the sort of thread jack!
She also sort of creeps me out a bit. She's a very happy looking giraffe.
Same here. Ours is the lower right canine. Unbelievable! My ped says it's unusual, but does happen. She also said for some babies night time is more painful, and sometimes slightly elevating their heads during sleep helps...
