@britab that would make me cry! How did you not throw something at them?
I realized little kids stare at me in awe as I walk past them. I have never seen little eyes get so big. sometimes it makes me feel like Godzilla or King Kong haha
At least you have an excuse! A cashier asked me if I had long to go yesterday. I pointed to DH outside who had the stroller and said "she's 6 days old". You're all pregnant, I'm just fat.

I have basically outgrown the winter *maternity* coat that I bought. I haven't had to wear it in a while but I tried it on for fun. I can just barely zip it.
I was making fruit dip and had no idea that it got all over my belly and turned crusty until DH got home from work and was like "wtf is that all over you".

I was drawing blood on a baby and I didn't know I had blood all over me until another nurse pointed it out. This was several months ago.
The cashier at Walmart (whom I seem to get every time I go there) actually said I cannot believe your still pregnant......are you sure you can handle the groceries.
My shirts and dh's largest shirts do not fully cover my bump anymore. When I'm in public I sincerely hope I'm not showing off my sweet red stretch marks

Ugh, same thing happened to me today. Was at Walgreens and the cashier asked when I was due. I said, "may 18. But I had her last week.."
While at my DS1's birthday party today, an animal park employee asked how much longer. I replied two weeks. She then said you got two in there? I said no. So she said 10 pounder??
I always read people complaining about these comments and I never seemed to get them before, but geez they are annoying.
Literally 5 minutes later on the hay ride my dad asked me if I was sure there weren't two in there... >:-( he hadn't even heard the lady's question - he just tries to be funny sometimes and fails.
I can hide a toddler from the shower water using my belly. He finds this hilarious. And speaking of showers, DH pointed out that it's a good thing I don't have much longer because I don't fit the best in our shower.
We have to watch where we are seated when we go out to eat. The other day I couldn't fit in the booth.
My kid decided my belly made a nice seat the other day. He climbed up and sat right down. Definitely not comfortable but I was impressed he could do it! There is more room on top of my belly than there is on my lap.
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!
@MK1013 he went from running through the water like a sprinkler to standing under me belly when he wanted a break. He tried with DH today but it just didn't work the same. He didn't quite understand.

Every time I go in for my twice weekly appointment, the receptionist goes "Dear God, you're still here!?!" And then spends the next five minutes talking about how round I am and how sorry she is that I haven't had Chunk yet.
Her and all the other ladies in my a OB office actually have a money pool going for how much they think he is going to weigh at birth. There are no guesses under 10 pounds
I'm so lurking from June 14' but technically could have a May baby but I just had to throw mine out there.
Apparently my belly is so big that a friend's mom said to me yesterday "Gosh, look at you. You are fat. Fat fat fat fat." I could not believe it. Of course I'm hormonal and cried. It was just so blatantly rude. She had also made previous comments that were easily brushed to the side. I'm just glad I took the high road and walked away. With DD I had a lady tell me how huge I was and insisted I was having twins after I told her I wasn't. I ended up asking her how she could comment on my size since she was bigger than me and I was pregnant. Oooops!
Haha hey, at least you're still cool @pistolpackinmomma I think DS officially thinks I'm lame. He asked me to race him to the garage today and I just laughed. Poor kid! I'm hardly able to get down on the floor to play trains (his obsession— I mean that) in fear that I won't be able to get up! He does help me the best he can, though.
I'm only still cool because he's only 16 months and doesn't know better. DH still wins if both of us are around
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!
I'm so happy these OB appointments are coming to an end soon... now when I go into the restroom to collect my urine sample I actually laugh when I pick up the collection cup. (And hope I'm packing enough pee to actually get some in the cup and not just all over my hand!) It's a bit more challenging than it used to be!

That just sounds horribly inappropriate for a doctors office!!!!

They are kind of crazy, but it's one of the best groups of doctors and nurses that I have ever experienced.
The bet came around while I was checking out one day and joking with them about how big the baby was. Everyone started making final weight guesses and someone suggested the pool.
I think if it was any other patient They probably wouldn't have done it, but because of my high risk pregnancy, I've been in there at least twice a month since the start, and since end of March I've been seen twice a week, so we all are on a first name basis and joke a lot when I'm there.
DH measured my circumference today. He was shocked that I am indeed smaller than I was with DS. Evidently I don't look it. And evidently I was a flipping cow with DS!!
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!
We went to the theater yesterday for a dance performance. The usher looked at my belly and without looking up at my face, asked if I needed a pillow. I declined but as my back started hurting, I sort of wished I had taken him up. I'm confused about what I would have done with the pillow though. Sat on it? Put it behind my back? Take a nap?
My husband had to help me out of the car twice yesterday when I couldn't seem to get out if his car on my own. And I keep bumping my belly going through doorways because I don't know where I end.
I have to use the handicap stall or I bump my belly on the wall or TP dispenser...
Yep. And seriously, what is with bathroom stall doors opening in? Somone is going to have to call the fire department to pry me out soon.
I always think that in airports in particular. When everyone is coming with wheely luggage, whose bright idea is it to have airport bathroom doors swing in so you have to navigate between the toilet and the door with your luggage?
There's one airport -- Las Vegas maybe? -- that has the doors that swing out and I always think this is so brilliant.
I flew in February (so I think I was 28ish weeks pregnant) and was struggling to get my belly and my luggage all in the stall. Then throw in that the door opened in. I was ready to hulk smash the damn thing!
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!
While this isn't such a bad thing, I officially can not do dishes. My belly is so large I can't hunch enough to scrub the dishes without ending up with a entirely wet belly and an aching back. DH agrees and has promised to do all the dishes. Also yesterday I had to have my husband repark the car because I couldn't squeeze out if the car.

I have random people mentioning my size and the size of my belly.
While at my breastfeeding class there was a girl who was pregnant with twins and due the same week as me and she was smaller than I am
I had 3 strangers ask me "how much longer?" today with like genuine concern, which is some kind of record. He's so low and I'm so huge and waddly!
