C likes to climb. I got rid of her high chair because she pulled it over onto herself trying to climb it. She can climb into any of our furniture. Ladders. Bookshelves. Anything. She's such a daredevil. Crazy kid gives mom anxiety.
I am dreading the day that Wesley figures out how to climb out of the crib. So far no interest that I know of, but everything else is a go for him. His daycare teacher told me that yesterday he climbed on top of the toy box and told her no, no, no, complete with head shaking and hand waving.
Ladders. T has a weakness for ladders. She'll climb up anything she sees. She used to just leap off once she got to the top, and expect someone to be there to catch her. We have tried to teach her to say "One, two, three JUMP" (which she can say) when she wants to jump, and we have taught her to climb down, which she is doing well now. (The one, two three jump is something she says when she's playing and jumping, but she hasn't used it to warn us yet.)
Alexis is climbing on everything. Schedule climbs into her high chair by herself. She loves climbing onto the kitchen table. If she can find a way she will climb it.
Anzleigh has mastered climbing out of her crib. It drives me crazy. I am going to buy a toddler bed this weekend and see how that works out. I'm not ready for all this. I thought I had a little longer before she decided to jail break her crib.
