Hey, did you get your kefir grains? Did you get them fresh or dihadryted? I just got my today, hope I can start making some mango lassi with them. If you haven't get yours yet, I got my from amazon way shipper than the kefir lady. They are fresh and big. That's it.

No, I haven't done it yet. I've been trying to decide if I drink enoughkefirto get the grains, but maybe if I got them, I would be better about drinking it everyday. Let me know how making the kefir goes! Lassi?

I'm been making 1 1/2 cup of the kefir, they are multiplying slowly, because of the milk. I'm using 2 % milk. I steal not getting the strong thick kefir yet, because I change the milk everyday. So far I made my mango lassi, and some kefir with peach, and today was strawberry kefir. It seems is helping my a lot. My digestion is getting better. After one more day I'm going to start detoxicating my body. I'm planing to made wheatgrass juice in the morning and the kefir for the afternoon. But yes, you should get them.

Hey, I just made some pancake with the kefir and they turn out so good. The kefir made the texture more puff and when the pancakes are ready they are very soft,and they don't tats like kefir at all.

i got them from her. they came in a small plastic bag with a bubble envelope. they are fresh, so I washed them with water firs then I put them in a glass with one cup of milk.

What you need are the grains. It does the matter from where it comes from, or how it looks. You just need the grains. When is very hot like on Sumer the best way is to keep them on the friged.

I don't think that's how kefir are. Kefir is just a bacteria the grows with any kind of milk and if you give a good care, they will survive for ever. Once you have a few grains in your care you can put the most expensive milk if you want. You are the want who will start making them, and you will be the one the will know what kind of milk you will put on them.
