I'm a commercial banker and I wanted to share something I learned at a medical conference yesterday.
I know people ask sometimes how people afford fertility treatments that are out of pocket. I learned of this program yesterday that is kind of like a fertility insurance policy. You pay for 3 ivf procedures up front with a payment plan. Since you buy them in bulk it's at a discount. The reason they do this is because if you get pregnant on the first try you don't get your remaining money back. So it's a gamble. But if you go all 3 times you save money. I also need to do allittle more research because i think they said anything after 3 times is free.
maybe I'm a little late to the party and people already know about this but i thought i would share.
Re: financing
**loss warning**
Unfortunately her son was born at 21w and lived 4 hours and the company counts that as a live birth. So now they are back at square one. It makes me really nervous given that and my history.
