Pregnant after 35

Any brides-tobe with bumps?

Hi All,

We got engaged on Christmas morning and were surprised to find out we could actually conceive (I am 42 and FH is 48) and truly feel like we have been blessed by a miracle.  We now want to move up the wedding to June instead of September.  We are going to just keep with the same plan of getting married on the beach by our home and then a dinner with our family and friends.  No big wedding this time around, we want it to be about us and our family (FH has 4 wonderful kids that I am lucky enough to inherit!).  So the search is on for a wedding dress.  Do you buy a normal one and go size or two up and have the rest adjusted? Are there any other brides to be out there?

Congrats and so exciting for your surprise! I would say check with the Dresdner. It is easier if you go up and take off material but Iall depends on how much your bump develops. Good luck.
