Tummy tightness? TMI

FTM here... Since Thursday this week I've been experiencing a lot of tummy tightness. The best way I can describe it would be like I am full of poop but throughout my entire abdomen. I am not constipated but I feel like I have no room for anything inside of me. Is this me just getting bigger with baby? Or something to be concerned about? Last night was rough to sleep because I felt uncomfortable the matter which way I laid because of how heavy my stomach feels. I have extra weight in my stomach area so not everything is baby. Any ideas? I am not worried enough to call my doctor… I don't think anything is medically wrong. Just wondering if anyone is going through the same thing?

    That sounds like me this week, so I'm going with normal. It's pretty uncomfortable

    Does the tightness come and go, or is it consistent? If it comes and goes (like, every few minutes), it could actually be that you're feeling braxton hicks contractions... if it is just an ongoing feeling, it is probably normal - just baby getting bigger and less room to grow!  Also, right around this stage, i've had to start making my meals itsy bitsy because I get full so fast, which is frustrating because I'm HANGRY, but I just try to eat a bunch of little meals throughout the day.  Your digestion slows so if you eat too much, you will feel miserable for a long time (at least I do).

    I am going through the same thing! DH even commented that it felt hard and was weird because it wasn't like that the day before. I am a FTM too, but I am thinking it is normal growing and stretching.

    I feel similarly. I think it's normal. And probably only going to get worse. :(

    Ive totally felt that way the last week or so.  Ive just felt so full, I think everything is growing and streching and moving up.  I get so full so fast while eating.  It could also be gas?

    Either way I think its normal.

    Is it a tightness above baby? Like stomach organ, not stomach in general? It could be indigestion. (As well as what others have said) Maybe try taking a gas x and see how you feel?
